WBCS is hosting a new Town Hall component of Power to Potential that is expected to inspire many productive conversations. Panelists include Jarilyn Fox with Women's Enterprise Magazine, Betty Manetta with Argent Associates, Inc., Jeff McLaughlin with Texas Instruments and Greg Spoon with DFW International Airport. Each person will bring their unique experiences to the discussion and audience participation is encouraged.
The Town Hall presentation intends to showcase the relationships between suppliers and buyers, as well as the specifics about the buyers and their supplier diversity programs. While each organization has unique purchasing processes, this program hopes to provide general insight into local procurement practices. A sample question… “If a WBE has an alternative solution to the service being bid for, can she share that in her response to the RFP?”
