Welcome to the WBCS Team Lindsay!


The Women's Business Council - Southwest is happy to welcome our newest staff member, Lindsay Pittard. As Director of Programs, Lindsay is responsible for the professional and personal development opportunities for members, including signature, educational and regional events.  As a part of the 20th anniversary year, Lindsay will also serve as the event lead for the 20th anniversary celebration in November 2015.

Lindsay began her career in the non-profit sector working in development and alumni relations for private Louisiana school systems.  In 2008, Lindsay relocated to Texas pursuing a fundraising event career with ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  After four years, growing the southwest region of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Louisiana markets, Lindsay personally raised over $2.2 million annually.  Seeking a less-travelled position, Lindsay became the Senior Director of Event Strategy for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.  Working with local Dallas service providers, fortune 500 company CEOs and donors, Lindsay planned a variety of events including a healthy mom and babies symposium featuring keynote speaker, First Lady Laura Bush.

Lindsay graduated from Louisiana State University with a BA in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and minor in Communication Studies.  While attending LSU, Lindsay worked for the Baton Rouge Convention and Visitors Bureau and Miss Teen USA pageant.
