Parade of Stars Awards Gala
The Parade of Stars Awards Gala is an illuminating semi-formal evening event honoring Women’s Business Enterprises and Corporate Members who go above and beyond to ensure the successes of women-owned businesses. The full event features an awards dinner, live auction, and casino night after party.
Connections to Contracts
This procurement-focused event connects women-owned businesses with corporations and each other and features a welcome reception, workshops, keynote luncheon, corporate roundtable procurement discussions, and a networking reception.
Harvesting Partnerships
This half-day educational conference features networking, our annual meeting and Board installation, WBE led roundtable discussions on a variety of business themes, and a keynote luncheon that includes the Lillie Knox Investment Award pitch presentation.
Table Topics
Table Topics are educational events that feature networking and a keynote speaker focused on communication, business development, or personal development. For those attending in-person, lunch is also included. There are 10 luncheons in 2022, held February through November, typically on the second Tuesday of the month.
Prospective WBE and SBE Info Sessions
Each info session features an overview of WBCS, the benefits of certification, and the process of getting certified. You'll have a chance to ask questions of our staff as well.
Women of Color Business Mixers
To better support the diverse women-owned businesses in our community and welcome those not yet part of our network, we host three business mixers throughout the year during national celebration months for women of color. All are welcome.
Corporate Breakfast Club
This event is an informal gathering for Corporate Members to candidly discuss supplier diversity related topics and gain insights to strengthen their supplier diversity programs.
Regional Business Mixers
These quarterly events have no formal programming, and are simply time for women-owned businesses and corporations to connect virtually.
Lillie Knox Investment Award
The Lillie Knox Investment Award is a cash prize of up to $10,000, exclusively available to WBCS Women's Business Enterprises, to help further business growth. Current members, in good standing, are welcome to apply annually for consideration.
