Patti Hanson, chief marketing officer for 1218, Inc. announces a first-time deal with WBE, Lynne Malkoff, president of Lynne Malkoff Promotions.
While sitting together at a WBCS Table Topics event last July, Patti noticed Lynne's engraved, portable charger and thought it would be a perfect promotional item for an upcoming event.
"At 1218, Inc., we have given out water bottles, t-shirts, pads and pens, but what Lynne presented was unique and that's what sold me on the idea," says Hanson.
Lynne followed up with Patti and offered an incredible price for the chargers, even though the order was less than 1,000 pieces. Each charger was engraved with one of four company logos and individually gift boxed.
"The lead time for this deal was extremely short, but Lynne pulled it off. The executives loved them, which was a small miracle since they are all IT Consultants and definitely know their stuff," adds Hanson.
