Affinity Group Programs

The Women of Color initiative was started by WBCS in 2012 with the formation of the Women of Color Outreach Committee made up of both Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) and Corporate members. This initiative was established in response to the growing number of women-owned businesses being started by women of color. We host three business mixers throughout the year events geared toward women of color including happy hours, panel discussions, and business mixers.

WBCS is thrilled to announce our newest initiative, NextGen! This initiative will provide unique networking opportunities, educational events, and group mentoring for those in the WBCS region. The NextGen program is designed to empower the next generation of women-owned businesses, WBEs, and professionals under the age of 45. All are welcome to attend NextGen events, and we hope to grow and reach more women entrepreneurs as we continue to create opportunities for women to thrive and succeed.
