The WBENC National Conference & Business Fair is less than one week away! This year it will be held in Baltimore, Maryland and features innovative educational programming, inspiring keynotes, 1:1 MatchMaker sessions, networking opportunities, and an unrivaled Business Fair. Read below for our advice on how to maximize your time and experience while at the conference.

1.) Connect with other WBCS WBEs.  We are hosting a GroupMe chat for WBCS members looking to meet, coordinate travel plans, schedule meetups, and network with fellow WBCS WBEs. Contact Taylor Crosby at [email protected] to be added.

2.) Download the mobile app. Make sure you are staying up-to-date on all conference events by downloading the mobile app.  You will be able to create your event schedule, find meeting rooms, follow social media, take notes and more.  

3.) Meet the WBCS team. Members from the WBCS team will be serving as volunteers for the WBENC Certification Business Lab and 1:1 MatchMaker on both Tuesday, June 25th and Thursday, June 27th. We'd love to meet you!

4.) Support our members at the WBENC Pitch competition. Four WBCS members will be competing at WBENCPitch; Check out the first round on Tuesday, June 25th and cheer on Fluency Corp, Life At the Table, Response Docs, and Team Delegate, LLC!

5.) Review the Business Lab Circuits. This year will feature nine different Business Lab Circuits focused on topics of critical importance to business owners and career professionals. With so many options, make a plan beforehand on which sessions you will want to attend. 

6.) Get ready to shop. The Women Owned Pop-Up Shop will be on Wednesday, June 26th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Stop by to discover new products and support women-owned businesses.
