We are excited to announce Michelle Gill, Vice President of Merchandising at The Container Store, as our keynote speaker for the upcoming Connections to Contracts procurement event. Hear her insights on how women-owned businesses can stand out to supplier diversity representatives, and how she was able to differentiate herself as a female leader throughout her career.
Prior to joining The Container Store, she spent more than 25 years at Neiman Marcus in both merchandising and ecommerce leadership positions. Most recently, Michelle spent four years as Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager over Women’s Apparel and two years as VP, DMM over Beauty and Fragrances.
Michelle holds a bachelors degree in Marketing from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She also participated in the Fine Arts Dance Program during her four years there. Michelle’s is most proud of her two college aged daughters, one a senior at The University of Texas in Austin and the other a Junior at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new restaurants, and traveling to warm weather locations
Connections to Contracts, our signature procurement event, will take place on April 12th at the Irving Convention Center. In addition to the keynote, there will be Corporate Roundtables, Corporate Industry Insight and WBE Success Story Sessions, and a networking reception.
