Darcel Webb, district manager, business diversity for Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) reports a multi-year contract with WBE, Marfield Corporate Stationery for the printing of business cards and stationery.
Marfield was one of seven companies that responded to the RFP for this commodity. Marfield was the most highly recommended company. They offer the best level of online services capabilities due to their specialization of the production and management of stationary and business cards programs.
"Marfield provides an e-procurement system customized to the district's requirements for ordering, managing, and distributing stationery products via on-line order forms and catalogs," states Cindy Risher, DCCCD commodity buyer.
Key areas of evaluation in awarding this deal were services capabilities, the ability to provide on-line processing, the ability to provide proofs for users and approve on-line, and sufficient personnel and equipment to provide optimum turn-around of work at a favorable cost.
