Hello Members, Community Partners, and Gala Guests,
I want to thank you all for making our 2022 Parade of Stars Awards Gala a huge success! As our first major in-person event since February 2020, it was not surprising that over 500 of you were ready to get together in person.
This year, we not only had the opportunity to celebrate our awards winners in-person, but to also give back to the Council through several fundraisers. Over $146,000 was raised during the evening through our Bling Boxes, donated by JCPenney, Heads of Tails Game, prize donated by The Container Store, gift-card grab, silent and live auction. I was happy to see our members excited to bid on vacation packages to Mexico, Broken Bow, and Alaska during the live auction! All of the money raised helps to continue the valuable programming and events offered at WBCS.
This event would not have been possible without my rockstar team who works tirelessly to organize our events and promote the mission of this organization. I would also like to thank our event committee who went above and beyond to ensure this year would be a success. Here is a short video recap of the event.
