(*Note - due to winter storms and power outages, this event was rescheduled to March 3rd)

On March 3rd we will gather virtually for our next Women Owned Wednesday (WOW) and address a new topic - mental health and the toll being a woman business owner can create. We will be joined by Debbie Roberson, the owner of Central Texas Thriveworks locations and licensed MA, NCC, and LPC. She will lead us on our journey to gaining better mental health and teach us best practices for self-care and tools on how to overcome challenges.

Meet Debbie Roberson!

Debbie is a successful entrepreneur and career changer. The past 15 years she has been a licensed professional counselor. Debbie worked in higher education as a career counselor for universities and proprietary colleges. After her experience as a solo entrepreneur therapist for eight years, she chose to partner with Thriveworks to increase her reach for clients in search of mental health services. She has staffed and created six new mental health clinics in the past six years, helping more clients than she ever could as a solo practitioner. She leads over 60 employees to include 53 mental health clinicians and 10 administrative staff. Debbie has a passion for making mental health care accessible to all.

About Women Owned Wednesday (WOW)

Every 4th Wednesday of the month we gather virtually to cover a topic specific to the life and career of woman-owned businesses and the professionals who run and support them. We created this series of events last April when the stay-at-home orders were first put in place. This programming was born out of Austin and caters to Central Texas women-owned businesses, WBEs, Corporate members, and business professionals. These events will always be open to all who are interested in learning new skills or tools, finding community, and nurturing personal and professional growth. We can’t wait to see you at our next Women Owned Wednesday!
