Upcoming Training for Women- and Minority-Owned Small Businesses

What: The University of Texas at Austin will be launching in April the second phase of its training program for minority- and women-owned enterprises and small businesses. This program will help HUBs/DBEs/M/WBEs with advanced marketing and sales strategies, select business financials, project and contract management, and generally increase capacities to win and execute successfully contracts with local, state, and federal agencies in the Austin region. Attention also will be devoted to becoming a supplier to private sector businesses.

Elevate Together

What: Black and Hispanic small businesses looking for additional resources to strengthen their businesses are also invited to apply for a cash grant through Elevate Together™ in association with the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Austin Transit Industry Day

EY Winning Women Class of 2022

What: Launched in 2008, the program targets women founders who have built profitable small companies with the potential to scale sustainably. Selected participants gain evergreen access to EY’s pool of vast resources and rich networks, helping to strengthen their abilities to become leaders in the market. To be eligible for the Class of 2022, applicants must be women business owners who are founding chief executive officers and majority owners of any privately held company in the United States or Canada.

Cultivate Small Business

What: Santander’s Cultivate Small Business program is designed to support the growth of early-stage woman-, BIPOC-, and immigrant-owned food businesses in emerging neighborhoods in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. The 12-week, fully virtual program is completely free to entrepreneurs, and provides you with industry-specific education, networks, and mentoring, along with the opportunity to apply for capital grants for your business.
