Capital One Accelerator Kick Off

What: As part of the Capital One Impact Initiative, we are excited to announce the launch of our Accelerator program in partnership with the DEC and UTD. Please join us at the program kick-off event to meet our inaugural cohort and hear from a panel of venture capitalists and entrepreneurs.

What: The National Medal of Honor Museum will honor and commemorate the stories of the recipients of the Medal of Honor, our nations highest military medal for valor in combat. The museum will offer an experience that draws personal and emotional connections to Medal of Honor recipients and their stories, while shedding light on the wars in which they fought and the ideals that the Medal of Honor represents. The centerpiece will be a main exhibition space of 40,000sf rising 45ft in the air. Two spiral stairs will lead guests from the Rotunda into the Exhibition Hall. The 101,000-square-foot footprint will also include a state-of-the-art Education Center, conference and event space, and an outdoor amphitheater for ceremonies. Linbeck Group, LLC has been selected as CMAR for the work and we are soliciting interested sub-contractors, vendors and material suppliers, to include Veterans, Minority, and Woman-Owned Business Enterprises from the local market

EY Winning Women Class of 2022

What: Launched in 2008, the program targets women founders who have built profitable small companies with the potential to scale sustainably. Selected participants gain evergreen access to EY’s pool of vast resources and rich networks, helping to strengthen their abilities to become leaders in the market. To be eligible for the Class of 2022, applicants must be women business owners who are founding chief executive officers and majority owners of any privately held company in the United States or Canada.

Women Export Academy

What: The Women Export Academy is a collaborative initiative between the U.S. Commercial Service and UPS that aims to increase the participation of women-owned and women-led business in exporting and to create more opportunities for women entrepreneurs to achieve economic equality.
When: Thursday, from May 26 to June 23 at 10 am Central Time

2022 Dallas ISD Bond Academy

What: The Bond Academy is an opportunity for perspective vendors (new and existing) to learn more about doing business with Dallas ISD while working to establish or increase their bonding capacity. This four sessions will be a comprehensive course to help build vendors capacity.

Cultivate Small Business

What: Santander’s Cultivate Small Business program is designed to support the growth of early-stage woman-, BIPOC-, and immigrant-owned food businesses in emerging neighborhoods in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. The 12-week, fully virtual program is completely free to entrepreneurs, and provides you with industry-specific education, networks, and mentoring, along with the opportunity to apply for capital grants for your business.
