2021 State of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
What: Join the Dallas Regional Chamber on June 22, as they create space for businesses and community partners to meet, engage, and strategize ways to advance equity in the Dallas Region. During this innovative virtual event, hear from Amy Liu, Vice President and Director of the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program. Learn about the work of their DEI Council over the last year and the real success stories from companies driving DEI initiatives. Women's Leadership Symposium
What: This year's Women’s Leadership Symposium, “A Matter of Value,” will focus on topics centered around women’s self-worth, the value of women in the workplace and in society, and what is valued collectively and as individuals. Join for an inspiring and motivating day of content and connection. Speakers range from C-level executives, to entrepreneurs, to one of the few female NBA coaches, and more. Hosted virtually, the day will also include strategic and focused networking opportunities, and an engaging Q&A with all the speakers.

Walmart Open Call
What: Walmart’s Open Call application process is now open for suppliers of U.S. manufactured items! Companies should apply now if interested in pitching their goods that are made, grown or assembled in the United States to Walmart merchants at our Open Call event on June 30. Selected suppliers will have the chance to meet with Walmart and/or Sam’s Club merchants! The application deadline is April 30th, and companies should apply by then to be considered and notified by June 1st.

National Black Business Pitch
What: The National Black Business Pitch (NBBP) is a competition designed to connect Black-owned businesses to corporations who seek to expand and diversify their supply chain in new products and services. Through the National Black Business Pitch, we are seeking to do more than provide a seat at the table, but to open doors and build relationships that can lead to long-term and sustainable contracts. The ultimate goal is to create a Black business network that corporations can access and do business with.
