DEC Network and Bank7 Small Business Grant Program

What: The DEC Network and Bank7 are looking to provide a number of grants to small businesses in the amounts of $2,500-$5,000. The grants are intended for small businesses (with gross annual revenues of $1M or less) specifically located in Southern Dallas County. These businesses would ideally have been established on or before 2019, have a minimum of 3 employees, be able to provide proof of good standing with the State of Texas, and be able to provide their most recent tax returns.

The Beck School of Construction Class of 2023 Application Open

What: The Beck Group, Dallas County and the City of Dallas are excited to announce the second year of partnership with the Beck School of Construction in Dallas County. The program strengthens working relationships with the small, minority, and women-owned businesses (SMWBE) in the North Texas Region. It also creates an opportunity for participating SMWBEs to grow their businesses by learning from industry experts with experience serving the contracting community.

Cross Timber Apex Accelerator SAM.gov webinar

What: Are you curious about what it takes to register your small business to receive Federal Contract awards? Have you struggled through the SAM.gov website? If so, then learn more at this free virtual outreach event on January 10th. Representatives from Cross Timbers APEX Accelerator (PTAC) will present a tutorial about how to navigate the SAM.gov entity registration process.

WBC LiftFund Path to Success Entreprenurial BootCamp

What: Join WBC LiftFund for their Path to Success Entrepreneurial BootCamp. The Path to Success Entrepreneurial BootCamp is designed for female Asian entrepreneurs in the startup or early stage (1-3 years). Our BootCamp will provide an in-person day of instruction, inspiration and peer learning followed by personalized business coaching and mentoring sessions to support participants in their business growth strategy for six months. End of program celebration will take place August of 2023.

City of Grand Prairie Small Business & Subcontractor Expo

What: The City of Grand Prairie is looking for exhibitors to participate in the upcoming Small Business and Subcontractor Expo on Tuesday, January 24 from 6-8 p.m. at City Hall, 300 W. Main Street. MBDA Capital Readiness Program

What: MBDA is seeking proposals for its $93.5 million Capital Readiness program grant competition to help minority and other underserved entrepreneurs launch and scale their businesses. This Program will provide funding to incubators, accelerators, and other eligible organizations across the country with expertise to support underserved entrepreneurs by providing training and other critical resources, tools, and technical assistance to access capital. Jumpstarting the next generation of entrepreneurs is essential, not only to spurring innovation, but also to building a more resilient economy that’s reflective of all Americans
