Prime Time Sessions

Have you made a connection with another member at a WBCS Event? Let us know for a chance to win free admission to Connections to Contracts.

The path to becoming a vendor for a corporation can be tedious and use up valuable resources for a small business. If you are interested in working with large corporations like Fluor and Shell Oil Company, but not quite ready to take on this process, there is an alternative - working with Prime (Tier 1) suppliers.

Prime suppliers are an important part of the supply chain, and provide opportunities for you to work directly with them to gain business, while also allowing corporations to fulfill their diversity goals.

This year at Connections to Contracts, our signature procurement event for 2019, we are introducing a new feature - Prime Time Sessions.  During these 1 hour sessions you will hear from one of our Sustaining (Corporate) Members and their prime suppliers on how you can become part of their supply chain process. Prime suppliers will also share upcoming projects and how to bid on them. You can choose to attend a session with Fluor, Shell Oil Company, DFW International Airport, or Toyota.

Online registration ends April 3rd - don't miss out on this chance to put yourself directly in front of corporations and prime suppliers looking to work with women-owned businesses! We also want to give a special thanks to Fluor and Shell Oil Company for sponsoring the 2019 Prime Time Sessions.

Connections to Contracts is our signature procurement event of the year. The day will feature a grab-and-go breakfast, corporate roundtables, a keynote luncheon, “prime time” sessions led by Sustaining (Corporate) Members and their prime (Tier 1) suppliers, and a closing networking reception.
