Join us to gain insights into supplier diversity, the obstacles you’re facing in achieving progress, and the four breakthroughs to growth. You’ll walk away knowing how to prepare to do business with a corporation and with a better understanding of your market, product differentiation, organizational effectiveness, and operational capability.

2. Hear From Two Outstanding Keynote Speakers - At this event, you will hear from not one, but two keynote speakers who have a deep background in helping women business owners. Danielle A. Davis is a commercial banker with JPMorgan Chase’s Middle Market & Specialized Industries group. She is primarily focused on strategy execution, business development and growth of mid-size diverse, women and veteran-owned businesses in the city of Houston and southwest segment. Danielle has been with JPMorgan Chase for over 20 years. Over the years, she has been involved with business resource groups, such as Houston’s WOTM chapter as a Marketing Chair and BOLD’s Global Board as the Marketing and Advertising Chair. Currently she is the co-chair of the external community committee for the Houston Location Leadership Program.

Shelli Howlett is a leader that has a passion for helping businesses grow! Previously, she owned franchises with BNI in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio for 26 years and grew it to over 105 chapters and 2,800 members. She scaled BNI from 1 part-time staffer to 8, and up to 55 “chapter directors”. Her regions passed an incredible $102,764,946 in referral business per year. Valentine’s Day 2020, she sold the entire business, and took off for two years with nine incredible trips. She then partnered up with Eric Strafel, Founder of Summit (Summi7). As President, she leads an inside staff and outside consultants that scale companies, but this time with a unique business scaling method. She helped write part of the “workbook” from the business owner's perspective that’s now the foundation of the company. What she’s most proud of is that clients leave with an executable playbook and actually get help implementing it. One company grew 40% in a year!

3. Opportunity to Network with Other Women-Business Owners - Our in-person event at the Norris Conference Center, is an excellent opportunity to network and connect with other women-business owners. Often times, entrepreneurs struggle with feeling like they are operating on an island and can't talk about certain issues with their employees. Making connections with other entrepreneurs who are dealing with the same obstacles can help you navigate business issues.
