Women In Toys is a non-profit established to serve women at all stages of their career who work in or are seeking to work in the toy, licensing, and entertainment industries. At the annual Fall Toy Preview held in Dallas, Texas, WIT holds its Empowerment Day offering mentorship, product pitches, and inspiration for women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
WIT invited WBCS to attend and speak about the benefits of WBE Certification and use of the Women Owned Logo on consumer-facing products.
The day kicked-off with panels of toy inventors and Walmart buyers, followed by mentorship sessions where attendees could learn about WBE Certification, social media, marketing, SBA resources, licensing, safety testing, and more. The afternoon featured lunch, a keynote speaker, and educational sessions.
