What do you like best as a member of the WBCS?
I love to hear the stories of how some of the women business owners started their businesses and their journeys that have brought them to where they are today!
What is your involvement in the WBCS?
We are a Corporate member, I serve on the Certification Committee, we are a resource for the WBCs to provide speakers for events and we try to participate in just about every WBCS event.
What is your favorite event & why?
Harvesting Partnerships. Harvesting Partnerships was my first event that I attended and it felt like home!
Tell us how membership has helped you and your business?
Our team has been able to build relationships with the WBEs and Corporate members and they know they can count on us to be a resource.
What do few people know about you?
That I have a 1968 Convertible Mustang that I show!
What is your proudest moment?
Winning the Rising Corporate Star Award in 2013
Who is your hero and why?
My grandmother! She served in the Korean War, the strongest woman I have ever known. She taught me to be comfortable in my own skin and don’t be afraid to be whom I am!
What was the best advice you ever received?
That you don’t always have to be the rock for people to stand on but you can be the pretty rock for people to appreciate!
What is your passion beyond business?
My dog, Fi Fi, my family and vintage cars
