Facebook built an extensive infrastructure to support this already massive and still growing user base. Earlier this year, Toyota was recognized by WBCS as the top corporation of the year at the Annual Parade of Stars Gala. At the gala, the award was received by Cheryl Hughes, Group Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Toyota Mortor North America Inc. We celebrate Toyota for implementing world-class policies and programs to enable growth and innovation while creating a level playing field for women-owned businesses.

April was National Volunteer Month and to celebrate we took time to surprise our WBE and Sustaining (Corporate) volunteers for their hard work and dedication in contributing to the success of the Council. On Thank You Tuesday and Thursday, we surprised our volunteers with goodies and balloons. We want to thank all of our volunteers that work diligently during the year; we could not provide many of our services without your help. 2016 Power to Potential Recap

2016 Power to Potential WBCS’ annual Power to Potential event was held at the Sheraton Dallas on November 8, 2016. The day started with pre-arranged matchmaker meetings, giving WBE members the chance to have one-on-one face time to discuss long-term procurement activities with potential buyers.
