Women of Color

We are excited to launch two Women of Color Mentor Programs this fall! The first is our 4th cohort for the Women of Color Mentor Program, targeted to women business owners looking to get WBE certified. Participants will be matched with a mentor (a WBE or Corporate WBCS member) for a three-month time period in which they will meet once per month and discuss the benefits of certification and any questions about the application.

On October 29th, the Women’s Business Council – Southwest (WBCS) hosted a Women of Color Business Mixer so women could network and hear from a panel of women who have grown their businesses through women-owned certification.

This outreach event caters specifically to women of color business owners and their staff who are interested in doing business with corporations and/or government entities.
