We are thrilled to announce Pitch Prep - a new development opportunity for our WBEs!
Pitch Prep allows WBEs to receive feedback on how to better present and communicate their value. This offering is 100% complimentary, open to all WBEs in our network, and timely since the feedback will be provided prior to our major annual procurement event - Connections to Contracts - where WBEs are able to briefly pitch to Corporate Members.
Overview
This complimentary program allows WBEs to improve their company’s elevator pitch and better communicate their value add. WBEs submit a 30 second video about their business and receive feedback from Encore Council Members.
Participant Eligibility
This free program is open to all WBCS WBEs.
Video Content
The pitch should give a brief overview of your business and what problem(s) you solve. There is no particular formula to follow for your video. Pretend someone just asked you what your company does. Be creative, concise, and authentic. Give the mentors your best pitch so they can provide honest and useful feedback. Not sure at all what to say? That’s okay! Give it a try and the mentors will help you develop.

Video Format
Please submit a link via Vimeo, Dropbox, YouTube, etc.
The video can be shot on your phone, laptop, etc. It’s not the quality of the video that will be critiqued but the content of the video and your presentational ability that will be analyzed.
