Women of Color Mentor Programs Fall 2021

We are excited to launch two Women of Color Mentor Programs this fall! The first is our 4th cohort for the Women of Color Mentor Program, targeted to women business owners looking to get WBE certified. Participants will be matched with a mentor (a WBE or Corporate WBCS member) for a three-month time period in which they will meet once per month and discuss the benefits of certification and any questions about the application.

Applications Open for Capital One SAGE Advice Program

The Capital One SAGE Advice Program is a 6 month development program designed to help 10 Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) owners grow in the areas of financial management, marketing, relationship building, selling to corporations, and strategic planning.

Announcing the WBCS Pitch Prep!

**Deadline has been extended to Sunday, March 7th** We are thrilled to announce Pitch Prep - a new development opportunity for our WBEs! Pitch Prep allows WBEs to receive feedback on how to better present and communicate their value. This offering is 100% complimentary, open to all WBEs in our network, and timely since the feedback will be provided prior to our major annual procurement event - Connections to Contracts - where WBEs are able to briefly pitch to Corporate Members. Deadlines are Quickly Approaching for COVID-19 Grants & Funding

On June 30th, the application period for the SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) will be ending, and funds are still available! In addition, financial resources continue to become available through local counties and private foundations - many can even be used in conjunction with the PPP or EIDL loans.
