Hi there!

My name is Nadia DiStefano and I am thrilled to join WBCS as the new Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships! First and foremost, I look forward to not only working with our WBEs to help further their success within each of their industries, but also helping our Corporate Members further diversify where, and with who, they do business. My goal will always be to strengthen membership within our region, while also expanding on the potential for new and underdeveloped industries to help transform our impact through such an impressive network.

I am very passionate about being a part of a community that allows me to use everything I can to help those around me. Having spent over 10 years in the non-profit arena, working in both development and community engagement roles, I am excited to begin helping build partnerships that can make lasting impacts. My background comes from two undergraduate degrees, in communications and anthropology, with a minor in women’s studies, from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. I also received my master’s in social work from TCU.

I call Arlington, TX home with my twin 8-year-old girls who keep me busy! I spend most of my free time with my family in the area. My father immigrated from the Middle East, and both my parents are also entrepreneurs! I have two sisters, a one-year-old nephew, and a niece on the way! I love everything about hosting events – both small and large – so if you ever need help with a party, I am your girl. There is always a craft or DIY project I am working on at home, and I love staying busy in my city volunteering through numerous non-profits I could tell you about all day long.

I have met so many of you in my first week with WBCS, but I truly look forward to getting to know each of you soon! Please do not hesitate to reach out as I learn more about how to be an asset to you. I am always open to hearing your ideas and feedback about where the Council can grow in the future. Most of all, I am so excited about what we will accomplish together!

See you all soon!

Sincerely,

Nadia DiStefano
