WiNGS for Women and Families

Our community partner WiNGS is hosting a tour of their facilities on September 18th for WBCS members interested in volunteer opportunities.

What is WiNGS?
WiNGS is a Dallas non-profit with a long history of helping women lift themselves out of poverty to become strong mothers, financially secure, and successful in the workplace.

What is the WiNGS Women’s Enterprise Center?
The WiNGS Women’s Enterprise Center is a program to help members design, launch, and establish their business. It is a no-cost business plan training program designed for women who want to start a new business or expand their existing small business. The program graduates own catering companies, beauty salons, child care services, and even run their own charities.

As a WBCS member, how can I get involved with WiNGS?
WiNGS needs guest speakers and mentors for their Women’s Enterprise Center. This is a great way for you as an established WBE to give back to other women just starting their business. If you are interested in learning more, please join us on September 18th!

When: September 18th, 6:30 - 7:30pm.

Where: 2603 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX 75235

Parking: There is gated parking lot towards the back of the building from Sadler Circle
