This year we had over 70 nominees across 6 categories. And while every nominee is deserving of an award, decisions still had to be made. We’ve detailed the nomination and judging process below to give you some insight on how the winners are chosen.

Earlier this year, Toyota was recognized by WBCS as the top corporation of the year at the Annual Parade of Stars Gala. At the gala, the award was received by Cheryl Hughes, Group Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Toyota Mortor North America Inc. The Regional Volunteer of the Year award recognizes an individual for their dedication to our mission of promoting women business enterprises and their active assistance in Council programs and events. Every year the Women’s Business Council - Southwest recognizes the tenacious female entrepreneurs and Sustaining (Corporate) Members in our network. At the 2018 Parade of Stars Awards Gala, the WBC-Southwest presented the Corporate Volunteer of the Year award to Donna Butterfield of Frost Bank for her commitment to outstanding volunteerism.
